What is special about Soprano?

 

Traditional hair removal lasers give strong, quick bursts of heat that can hurt and make people anxious. They mostly work best on fair skin and can be risky for tanned or dark skin.
Soprano Ice’s technology is different and easy. It uses gentler flashes of heat that gradually warm up the hair roots without causing pain. It’s like getting used to warm water slowly. Plus, they keep your skin cool with a special cooling tip.

Soprano lasers also use three types of lasers, which studies show is better at stopping hair from growing back. That’s why it is the most trusted choice for many skin types, even tanned or darker skin.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions needed varies for each individual due to unique factors. However, we suggest a range of 6-12 sessions to effectively achieve lasting hair reduction.

What will happen to my skin after my first session?

Soprano laser systems employ a cooling technology which rapidly and effectively cools the skin before, during and after treatment. Most people will not experience any side effects, but some side effects can be temporary redness of the skin which can be treated with Aloe Vera gel.

When will I see results?

Results can be visible after the first session. Individual experiences may vary, with some achieving better outcomes than others. For the most optimal results, we advise our clients to be consistent with their sessions.

Will laser hair removal work for me?

Soprano ICE is one of the few laser hair removal machines that is suitable for all skin types and colours, with the exception of individuals with white, grey, or red hair due to the absence of melanin.

It is highly effective for the majority of individuals, offering a superior alternative to traditional laser methods. Only a small percentage, approximately 5%, may find that it does not deliver the desired results.

What areas of the body can you laser?

You can perform laser hair removal on almost any body area. We do not treat the palms of the hands or the soles of the feet as hair will not grow there. Eyes must be protected during treatment so we cannot treat within the eye socket. We only advise to treat areas that have terminal hair (thicker darker hair) and you should avoid areas that only have very fine baby hair which will not be dense enough to be affected by the laser.

How long will I have to wait in between sessions?

During the initial treatments, sessions are scheduled 4 weeks apart to effectively target hair follicles in the most effective cycle. As progress is made, we gradually extend the intervals to every 6-8 weeks. Eventually, you may only require occasional touch-up sessions for maintenance.

Is laser hair removal safe?

Laser hair removal, particularly with the Soprano Ice system, is known for its safety, thanks to its innovative cooling technology. Protective eyewear is provided at the beginning of the treatment and cooling gel is applied to the skin to serve as an extra protective barrier.
